1. Scope and provider

1.1 These Terms govern all contracts between Coceu [ENTITY], [ADDRESS] ("Coceu", "we") and the customer ("you") concluded via coceu.com.

1.2 Coceu is an independent intermediary service. Coceu is not a manufacturer, not an authorised manufacturer representative, and not a public authority. We procure Certificates of Conformity (CoC) through the manufacturer's official channels on your behalf.

2. Service description

2.1 You submit the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and required details. We request the corresponding CoC from the manufacturer's official channel.

2.2 Delivery is in two steps: (a) a digital PDF copy of the CoC by email once available, and (b) the original CoC shipped by UPS, where the manufacturer issues an original.

2.3 Delivery times depend on the manufacturer and are estimates, not guaranteed dates.

3. Conclusion of contract

3.1 Presentation of the service on the website is an invitation to order, not a binding offer.

3.2 By completing checkout and clicking the order button, you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email.

4. Prices and payment

4.1 Prices are shown in EUR and, for consumers, include applicable VAT.

4.2 For business customers in another EU member state providing a valid VAT ID, the reverse-charge mechanism applies (Art. 196 VAT Directive); no German VAT is charged and you account for VAT in your member state.

4.3 Payment is due upon ordering via the offered methods (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) processed by Stripe.

5. Right of withdrawal and its expiry

5.1 Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (see separate Cancellation Policy).

5.2 Because performance begins immediately upon your request, the right of withdrawal expires early where you have expressly consented at checkout to (a) immediate commencement of the service and (b) — for the digital PDF — immediate provision of the digital content, and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance (service, §356(4) BGB) / upon commencement (digital content, §356(5) BGB).

6. Refund guarantee

6.1 If we are unable to procure your CoC, you receive a 100% automatic refund of the amount paid, via the original payment method. This contractual guarantee applies regardless of whether the statutory right of withdrawal has expired.

6.2 The guarantee does not cover cases where you provided an incorrect VIN or incomplete details and fail to correct them after we request correction.

7. Your obligations

You warrant that the VIN and vehicle details you submit are correct and that you are entitled to request the CoC for the vehicle.

8. Liability

8.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.

8.2 For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage.

8.3 Liability under the Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG) remains unaffected.

8.4 We are not liable for the accuracy or content of the CoC itself, which originates from the manufacturer, nor for delays caused by the manufacturer.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

9.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the consumer's country of residence remain unaffected.

9.2 For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
